Rich Lively, aka Picl Rich, is a current member of the NPL Senior Pro Tour playing for the Denver Iconics. Previously ranked top 10 singles and top 15 doubles with multiple national gold medals and a current DUPR rating of 5+.Rich has always been active in sports. In addition to his Pickleball Pro status, Rich has been a tennis pro, golf pro, and a badminton and table tennis champion with over 20 years of coaching experience. After serving 30 years in full-time ministry as a pastor and missionary, Rich and his wife moved to Tennessee where he made a career change. He now fully pursues his passion for playing Pickleball on the senior pro tour while coaching, giving private lessons, and conducting clinics both nationally and internationally. His unique style and charisma entertain and teach pickleball techniques in a way that is unforgettable, all while raising his student’s PICL IQ!
Since preaching will always be his first calling, Rich relishes the fact that many people who meet him for the first time on the court say, “You don’t look like a preacher!” This has opened the door to many interesting conversations.
His favorite part of the day: “anything associated with pickleball — whether playing, giving tips at the local park or conducting private lessons, any day with pickleball in it is a perfect day!”

Up your game with lessons with the pro!Manu is a Pickleball player and coach with over two years of playing and teaching experience. As a player, he has participated in both national tournaments, playing in the highest categories, and in international tournaments, such as the World Cup in Peru 2024, representing Costa Rica.
He has worked with people of all types of levels and ages; seeing great improvements in technique and skill from his clients.
“I consider myself a coach who explains everything simply and easy to understand, always with a little humor to make my students smile.”
He provides both group and private lessons. “I always try to help my clients achieve their goal, whether it is having fun, or competing to win matches and tournaments.”

Meet Coach Sherri
Learn the Game and Basic Skills(seasonal coach)
Sherri Van Sickle is a very experienced pickleball player with over 30 tournament medals earned during the past 2 years.
Sherri has medaled in Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Singles and Skinny Singles. She has competed throughout Canada and the United States, and trains with a number of different clubs, competitive groups, and Pro players.
Although highly competitive, Sherri loves the grass roots, friendly nature of the sport and carries her enthusiasm for the game with her.
Sherri is our instructor for Skills & Drills classes for both men and women here at Pura Pickleball!

Meet Coach Mike
Learn How to Play and CompeteMichael Compton, a 54-year-old coach from Texas, brings over 25 years of experience in tennis to his passion for pickleball. With 2.5 years of dedicated play, he has quickly excelled in the sport, earning a certification from Pickleball Coaching International’s introductory instructor training program.
Michael’s competitive success includes a first-place doubles title and a third-place finish in mixed doubles at a tournament in Costa Rica. Combining his deep understanding of racket sports with his enthusiasm for teaching, he is committed to helping players of all levels improve their game and enjoy the sport.
